StudyPros In-Home Tutoring is owned and operated by Diane and Allan Trautman, who met as students at CalArts in Valencia in 1977. They became full-time Santa Clarita residents in 1993. They have two children who both attended schools in the William S. Hart School District. One is a graduate of the University of California; the other is attending Hofstra University in New York.

Diane has been an active community member and education advocate for over 10 years. She has worked as a classroom volunteer and served in leadership positions with the PTA, including unit president and Council PTA Legislation Chair. Diane has also represented parents as a member of the elementary Site Council and Parent Advisory Committees, and as a participant on the Hart District boundary committee. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, Diane worked as a Benefits Administrator and Personnel Administrator for a publishing company. She currently serves as a City of Santa Clarita Planning Commissioner and member of the city's Arts Advisory Committee.

Allan received his B.A. in Physics and Drama from Washington University in St. Louis (Summa Cum Laude & Phi Beta Kappa) and his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts. He has had a successful career as a puppeteer and actor for films, TV, commercials, and live theatre, working frequently with the Jim Henson Company.
