Our process starts when our education director, Diane Trautman, talks with you about your child's needs. Part of what makes us different is our attention to detail. We go into more depth than just subject and grade. We're interested in your child's overall educational needs.
We also like to find out something about your child's personality:
• their special interests
• hobbies
• other characteristics which can contribute to a total understanding of your needs.
We want to make a personalized fit.
This consultation is free and without obligation.

We Select the Right Tutor
Next we use our matchmaking skills to select just the right tutor for
your child. One who will be a good fit not only academically, and with
your schedule, but in terms of personality. We intend to help your
child build a good working relationship with his tutor. Learn more about our tutor selection process.
3.
We Take Care of the Details
After we select your child's tutor, we contact you with all the information you need: • the tutor's qualifications • why we think this tutor is a good match for your child • scheduling options • a quote
You
can then make a decision as to how many hours you'd like to purchase.
You can try just one hour to see how it goes, or you can buy a package
of hours at a discount. Either way, you're never obliged to use any
minimum number of hours.
Flexible Hours Most of our clients purchase hours of tutoring
in packages. Your package of hours can be used flexibly, within the
scheduling limits of your tutor. So if your child has a medical
appointment one week, for example, it's easy to reschedule directly
with the tutor. Or if you'd like the tutor to spend a little more time
with your child before an important exam, that's OK too.
One-Stop Billing We handle all the billing through our
office, so you don't need to write out a check each time the tutor
arrives. We'll let you know when your package of hours is almost used
up. You can then purchase another package or discuss other options.
No Long-Term Contracts It's our job to help your child get to the point where they do not need
the tutor anymore, so we do not ask you to agree to any minimum number
of lessons or length of time. You are free to cancel at any time
without further obligation.

The Tutor Provides an Introduction
Before your first scheduled lesson, the tutor will call with an introduction, and to confirm the tutoring details.
5.
We Follow Up
After your first lesson, we will contact you to make sure it went well,
and to discuss the next step. At this point, you can purchase a package
of hours, request a different tutor (a rare occurrence!), or make any
other arrangements you like. Our service is very personalized.
